Therapeutic paddle boarding is an incredible way to build strength, coordination, and sensory resilience while taking in San Diego's best attribute- the outdoors. So many times, we find that children respond positively to the organic and relaxing benefits of being near or engaged with water. In fact, many children undergo a total transformation of self and body, once they are placed in or near water. Our program provides a gentle and individualized exposure to the many components of paddle boarding, with a tailored and supportive experience for your child.

Build strength, coordination, and sensory resilience while taking in San Diego's best attribute- the outdoors
Our therapists assess and support the muscles and coordination needed for effective paddle boarding.
Through the intentional experience of being in nature, we help children understand and further develop their balance.
Many children thrive when therapy happens outside the clinic walls. For kids who love water or benefit from novel, engaging environments, paddle boarding can become a powerful tool for growth, transforming challenges into opportunities for success, transforming challenges into opportunities for success.
Adapted to your child’s needs, each session is designed to cultivate confidence, safety, and joy in movement. Parents are always encouraged to observe and celebrate progress.
Each session blends play, functional movement, and age-appropriate strengthening to help your child build confidence and coordination.
We begin by introducing your child to the board, paddle, and environment at a pace that feels safe and supportive. Each session is adapted to their abilities and comfort level.
Support Sensory Regulation: Gentle rhythm and outdoor input help calm the nervous system and improve focus.
Boost Confidence & Resilience: Each session encourages trying new things and builds pride through accomplishment.
Build Strength & Balance: Develop core stability, coordination, and motor control through fun, natural movement on the water.
