Dana Zambrana

Dana graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.

Her passion for working with children developed quickly at a young age and was affirmed by experiences throughout her undergraduate career in which she connected with children of all ages and abilities as a mentor, swimming instructor, youth leader, and synchronized swimming coach.

While this led to her interest in Therapy and Rehabilitation, her academic experience also led to the development of interests in Public Health.

More specifically, she is driven to work towards addressing health disparities in her community and to create more equitable access to vital health care services.

In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, watching her favorite Los Angeles sports teams, and staying active by swimming, biking, and running.
